This attractive hosta boasts showy, blue leaves that are thick, cupped, and heavily textured as they mature. The large leaves become dark green as they age, generally in late summer. In summer, white bell shaped flowers emerge from the center of this low maintenance perennial. The Big Daddy Hosta matures to about 2.5 feet tall and 3.5 feet wide.

How To Care

Hostas thrive in full to part shade and are adaptable to most soils and pH levels. Big Daddy Hostas go dormant in in late fall or winter, but come back year after year. Dead foliage may be removed any time after your plant goes dormant. Water your newly planted Hosta deeply a couple times per week to encourage the roots to grow properly.
